Sofía Ugarte

Sofía Ugarte is a sociologist with an MSc. in Social and Cultural Anthropology from University College London. Currently she is part of the Anthropology Programme in Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and colaborator of Ensayos project in Tierra del Fuego. Her research focuses on uncertainty, failure, and temporality in different realms such as economic and kinship studies, and environmental conflicts.
